1. I was very impressed by Nick Brandt's photographs because he was able to get so close to the wild animals. I was surprised by the time he would wait to get the perfect shot of the animals. 18 days is amazing in my opinion. That shows that he is an amazing photographer who will waiter any amount of time to get perfect photo of these beautiful animals.

3. This photo is showing the love between the two lions. I like this photo because it is beautiful and amazing how he got so close to these dangerous animals. I think they are a family. It is really cool to see these animals in their natural habitat.
4. This picture is simplicity because there is no distracting colors or objects in the background, its just a solid color background.
5. Brandt uses a Pentax 67 camera with a fixed lens. This is important because when using a fixed lens, there is no zoom. Brandt believes that being close to the animals makes a difference in the photo.
6. He takes these photos to simply just show their state of being and that they exist. He is trying to show people that animals are important too.
7. He hopes that from taking these photos, he can show people just how amazing these animals are. He wants to capture these animals before they die.
8. "You wouldn't take a portrait of a human being from a hundred feet away and expect to capture their spirit; you'd move in close."
