Five things you should be thinking about:

• It is important to have familiar faces on the magazine. When people see news about people they know it is more interesting.
• When people see news about kids in Africa with no water they become emotional. So they are more interested. 
• The more color the better. People appeal to color. 
• Have a lot of information but make it short and easy to scan.
• Make sure where you sell them are interesting and cool.
