Final exam review

Rule of thirds: Is when the cameras focus is on the sides of the picture. The subject or object is off to the sides.

Balancing Elements: When the subjects are in uniform. They balance each other out like a fruit on either side of the photo. 

leading lines: Is when there are lines in the photo that draws the viewers attention to a certain part of the picture.

Symmetry and patterns: when both halves of the photo are the exact same. Same shape, size everything. 

viewpoint: The point of view like the angle the photo is taken at. It also is how the viewer sees it. 

Background: an area or scenery behind the main object of the photo 

create depth: Creating dimension in the photo.  It makes the photo look 3D.

Framing: Framing is where the picture is outlined by objects or the main focus point is outlined by objects.

Cropping: Cropping is where you make the picture smaller to show only what needs to be shown to get the message across.

Mergers and avoiding them: Mergers are objects that get in the way of pictures that you want to take and it confuses the person looking at the picture.
